News Releases Distro Trade list Gigs Links

This is a non profit DIY punk record label / distro based in Bristol in the UK run by myself, Oli Saunders. I started it in February 2008. I write reviews for Collective Zine. I put on gigs with friends in Bristol and Bath occasionally. I am in the band Elsie Beckmann. I have a Last.fm profile. Get in touch for any reason by emailing me at internationalerecords at dsl dot pipex dot com. Thanks.

I have some records from my own collection on sale - looking for offers - check them out here.

I plan to put out a split 12'' between Costacurta and Lost In Bazaar with a few other labels. The songs and cover are mostly ready but we need some more labels to get involved. Please get in touch if you are at all interested.

There are also plans to release the Eucalpyt discography on vinyl; it will include the songs on the tape and CD discographies plus one or two new songs. Get in touch if you are interested in helping with this.

The Kaddish 12'' is now available! £6.50 plus postage. Joint release with Autumn Jams (UK), Parade Of Spectres (UK / US), and This One's For The Crew (UK), so alternatively contact them if you want one.

The James Dean 7'' (second version) is now available! £4 plus postage. Joint release with Hey Presto! (Australia). Sorry for the inflated price on the 7'', the reason is due to the small pressing that was originally made and having to get them posted over from Australia. It's still worth it.

No Sleepytime gigs planned at the moment. These fine people put on good gigs periodically, however, so check them out:
Antifolk
Decorum
Ingue
Pull The Strings

P.S. These are undoubtedly my top five bands / artists as of 2010, in alphabetical order:
Duster - best slowcore ever along with their related bands. No music will ever be this good.
Neutral Milk Hotel - folk or indie...? Just absolute genius.
Rights Reserved - no one will ever sound like this again. Amazing nineties emo.
Screeching Weasel - my favourite pop punk, along with related bands these guys are pretty perfect.
Sleepytime Trio - their most intense songs are the best 90s emo in my opinion. Just wow.

The next five contenders are a little more difficult to choose, here's an attempt:
Jackson C. Frank - some of the most depressing folk I have ever heard, it's crushing at times, but perfect.
Raein - these guys along with Daïtro made such an impression on me when I heard their split. Solid gold output after the early stuff.
Season - I need one Bremen hardcore band in here - a lesson in brutal but listenable music.
Usurp Synapse - got to put these guys in, they pushed the boundaries of screamo more than anyone.
